Home news Misson Statement The Team Services Contact Us

Dear Patient we hope this notice finds you and your family in good health.

The treatments you are offered may be different to those you received before. We are following NHS guildines and it will take some time before services can return to what you previously experienced as normal.  We appreciate your patience in this respect.

Our community has been through a lot in year 2020 and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines, while many things have changed one thing has remained the same our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to the surgery.  Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it is both safe and comfortable.  We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep you safe.

Our practice follows infection control guidelines made by the governing bodies.  We are up to date on new guidance that has been issued.  We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment.  We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.  For example:

Our practice may communicate with you beforehand to ask you some screening questions.  You’ll be asked those same questions again at your appointment.

We have hand sanitiser that we will ask you to use when you enter the practice.

We will check your temperature when you enter the practice.

We will not be allowing patients to wait in the reception area

Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing this will mean fewer appointments being scheduled in the day.  This will allow for fewer patients around the practice.

How you can help:

With the exception of children patients should come alone

A distance of 2m should be observed

Please follow the signage which has been out up

Please observe coughing etiquette

Payment should be made by card or over the phone only and we cannot accept cash for now

Please do not arrive early, if you do please wait in your car until it is the time of your appointment

Please do not arrive without an appointment, you will not be seen on the day.  Ring 01252 816555 to speak to a member of staff.

Please be patient with us while we work through the backlog of emergencies we have triaged over the lockdown period.  Your routine NHS exam may not be until 2021 but your registration will remain with us.

We eagerly look forward to the time when normality resumes, however we hope you understand the new processes and protocols that have been put in place are for the benefit of everyone.

Please see the News feed page for more recent updates.

Sincerely
